I’m Ann Woo, a wife, mom, self-taught cook, and the founder of Wooed by the Food. It brings me so much joy to share with you delicious real food recipes for the whole family to enjoy!

Originally from Seoul, South Korea, I grew up in North Carolina. I discovered my passion for cooking while living in Wyoming. I now reside in Virginia with my husband and our two-year-old son.

How Did I Get Here?

In 2018, I embraced the Whole30 program. It taught me to cook with whole ingredients free from sugar, dairy, soy, gluten, legumes, and sulfites. Since then, I’ve focused on creating recipes with minimal processed ingredients.

Since 2019, I’ve been sharing my passion and culinary creations on Instagram and website.

Becoming a mom to my son, Eller, in 2021 inspired me to explore baby-led weaning. This led to the launch of my ebook featuring over 50 real food recipes for babies over six months old. This was so well-received with thousands of copies sold!

By 2023, I amassed a loyal following of over 100,000 parents by sharing my daily meals for my family.

Around the same time, my husband developed a gluten sensitivity and my recipes have evolved to include many gluten-free options. However, everything can be adapted to accommodate various dietary needs.

My Mission

Through my website, social channels, and ebook, I aim to showcase the joy of cooking with whole ingredients and provide easy-to-follow recipes that make healthy and nutritious meals a breeze.

As a full-time working parent, I understand the importance of quick, simple, and delicious recipes that require minimal effort. I hope to inspire others to create colorful and satisfying meals that bring joy to the table. Quality time should be spent with loved ones.
