Pesto Rice

Ingredients

  • 3 cups cooked rice
  • 2 cups steamed broccoli chopped
  • 1/2 lb ground turkey
  • 1/3 cup pesto
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/8 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tbsp. olive oil

Instructions

  • In a large pan over medium-high heat, add olive oil and ground turkey. Season with garlic powder and black pepper then stir to cook until brown, about 5 minutes.
  • When the turkey is done, add cooked rice, steamed broccoli, and pesto to the pan and stir until the pesto is well combined with the other ingredients.
  • Add grated parmesan to the pan and stir for another 30 seconds. Serve and enjoy!
