Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
Scrub the sweet potatoes well and cut them into evenly-sized wedges.
In a large bowl, combine the sweet potato wedges with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, cumin, salt, and black pepper. Toss until the wedges are well coated with the seasoning.
Place the seasoned sweet potato wedges in the air fryer basket in a single layer, making sure not to overcrowd them. You may need to cook in batches.
Cook for about 15-20 minutes, shaking the basket a good shake halfway through, until the wedges are golden brown and crispy on the outside, and tender on the inside.
Remove the sweet potato wedges from the air fryer and serve them hot.
