Zucchini Fries for Babies and Toddlers

This has been one of Eller’s faves ever since we started baby led weaning when he was not even 6 months old! Zucchini is a great first food bc it’s super soft and this recipe is foolproof in how easy it is! This is also a great appetizer idea for a group and you can serve with some marinara sauce to dip.

    Ingredients

    • 2

      medium zucchini, quartered lengthwise

    • 1

      egg, whisked

    • 1 cup

      breadcrumbs or panko

    • avocado oil spray

    • optional: grated parmesan cheese

    Directions

    • If using oven, preheat to 400 degrees. If using air fryer, preheat to 390.

    • Dip the cut zucchini in beaten egg then dredge in breadcrumbs.

    • Place zucchini evenly spaced out in baking sheet or in air fryer basket (work in batches if needed) then coat with avocado oil spray. Bake in oven for 20 minutes or air fry for 8 minutes.

    • Serve immediately and enjoy!
