Avocado Mango Smoothie

I make at least one smoothie a day, especially during the summer. I mean, what’s not to love? It’s the best way to get in lot of nutrients at once, you can use any combination of ingredients and kids go crazy for them. I go through phases of what I put in my smoothies and right now my smoothie game has been revolving around avocados.

This avocado mango smoothie is the perfect combo. Avocados go from ripe to gross in a second so it’s the perfect smoothie to use when you have extra avocados. It’s also a great way to get kids to drink a green smoothie. The mango and banana are so sweet you can’t really taste the greens.

I added in spinach, hemp seeds and almond milk but you can add your favorite fruits you have lying around. For more smoothie inspiration, try my Carrot and Banana Smoothie, Watermelon Smoothie or Berry Smoothie.

🗒 Substitutions

  • Use any milk of choice. I like unsweetened almond milk, coconut milk or oat milk.
  • If you have fresh mangos (or any fresh fruit) that are getting too ripe, cut them up and freeze them in freezer bags so you have them whenever you want.

🗒 Variations

  • Add Greek yogurt for an extra creamy smoothie and added protein.
  • Add a splash of orange juice to sweeten this even more.

👝 How to Store Leftovers

Smoothie are best when enjoyed right away. If you have extras, store it in the fridge and re-blend in the blender to make sure everything is mixed.
