Mango Strawberry and Banana Smoothie

I have a smoothie obsession. And what’s not to love? A good smoothie is one of my favorite ways to curb my sweet tooth and get tons of nutrition at the same time. I throw in my favorite fruits, blend it up and go on my merry way.

The queen of all smoothies is absolutely the strawberry banana mango smoothie. This fruity smoothie is the perfect drink, any time of year.

This is not a green smoothie (but, by all means, add those leafy greens) so it is a good smoothie to serve picky eaters. It’s an easy way to get toddlers to eat tons of fruit at once.

👩‍🍳 How to Make this Banana Strawberry Mango Smoothie

  • In a high-speed blender, combine ingredients and blend on high for 1-2 minutes or until all ingredients are well combined.
  • If necessary, add in more milk for a thinner smoothie.

🪄 Tips and Tricks

  • Using frozen fruit is the best way to make your smoothie cold. This eliminates the need to add ice cubes, which can water down the smoothie.
  • Use super ripe bananas, they make the smoothie extra sweet.
  • Use full-fat Greek yogurt for an extra creamy smoothie.
  • If you have ripe mangos (or any fresh fruit) that are getting too ripe, cut them up and freeze them in freezer bags so you have them whenever you want.

🗒 Substitutions

  • Use any milk of choice. I like unsweetened almond milk, cashew milk, coconut milk or oat milk.
  • Use orange juice or pineapple juice to add extra sweetness.

🗒 Variations

  • Add protein powder, peanut butter or almond butter for extra protein. Note, this will change the taste.
  • Make into a smoothie bowl, topped with chia seeds or hemp seeds, fresh strawberries, mango chunks, coconut shreds and honey or maple syrup.

👝 How to Store Leftovers

Smoothies are best when enjoyed right away. If you have extras, store it in the fridge and re-blend in the blender to make sure everything is mixed.

🤔 Common Questions

Is this recipe gluten-free?

Yes!

How to make this a vegan smoothie?

For dairy-free, use a non-dairy milk such as oat milk, soy milk, almond milk or cashew milk. Also, use a vegan yogurt in place of Greek yogurt.

My smoothie is way too thick?

If you want a creamy texture but not too thick, adjust the amount of milk you add.
